2009 catelougs are starting to come in and plans are swirling in our heads!
It is so overwhelming to look back over our season and forward to next year...
For an example, last year we planted 2 cases of onions/leeks (about 3600 plants.) Next year we are considering an onion/leek order of 6 cases! Add that in with some onions/green onions/leeks started from seed and we are planning about a 1/4 acre onion plot. (Are we crazy?) If only our soil looked like the soil in this onion feild!

My virgin vegetable garden is still on paper only...we haven't even gotten someone to rototill the little patch for us. I'm sad I missed the opportunity for planting garlic this year. But I'm dreaming of neat rows of beans and tomatoes and other garden goodies.
